Mwandi Town Council on the 29th May, 2025 held a meeting with stakeholders of Lisulo village over the acquisition of a piece of land to be used as a Trucking Bay in Simungoma along Sesheke road.

The council is seeking a go head from the traditional leadership to commence development on the requested piece of land and the BRE through area chief Induna Lilume and Induna Lisulo who were in attendance confirmed prior communication from the Mwandi Town Council over the request to develop on the requested piece of land and gave a go ahead.

The Council Secretary Mr. Kajimo Kahinga, Esq. thanked the Lisulo family and also emphasized the importance this development will bring to the area and to the people of Simungoma.
