Mwandi Town Council Secretary, Kajimo Kahinga,Esq. successfully engaged with Sikuzu residents regarding the Sikuzu-Matoya Feeder Road project.

The Council Secretary highlighted the significance of feeder roads in connecting rural communities to major highways, facilitating movement and economic activity.

Speeking during the same meeting, Mwandi Ward Councillor, Ivy Malamo, assured residents that the road gravelling project would improve mobility and convenience.

She confirmed that works are set to commence and this will bringing relief to the community.

The team, led by the Council Secretary and Councilor Malamo, visited the project site, where uprooting of trees and opening up of the road have already begun, marking the start of the project’s implementation.
